This weekend was one that will forever go down in history as hella fun. But, I did stumble upon a few new Michigan Lore/Stories that made my mind slightly explode. And, I really do not know where to start with these.
One, is local to my dad. It is known as Miller Mansion. I have heard this story so many times throughout my youth. It was always so fascinating to me. I have been taking to good ole Facebook to ask for help. So as soon as I gather this new information I will have a great story for y'all. It has been a wild ride. And FUN wild ride.
The next story coming too you soon will be the various shoe trees throughout Michigan. we passed the one in Kalkaska, MI. It was really cool and fun to see. And, the story behind it was fun too. And, the more I looked I found that it has become a statewide sensation. My mom and dad even knew of one more local to us. I can't wait to bring this story to life.
The 3rd story that popped out to me over the weekend was the Antler's Bar and Family Restaurant. The atmosphere was fun. The decor was something that you can't even dream of. But, the back story of this place. THAT kept me on my toes. And, kept me up late into the night in a kind of gross hotel room in Mackinaw City. I couldn't stop reading on it. And, quite frankly I didn't want to. This story will be fun to tell. I even got a story from one of the waitress' about the scary stuff that happens there.
